Terms of Use
By using the "Billi: Səbəb yoxsa Bəhanə" app (hereafter — the App) you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

1. What the App is
You write down your situation. Others vote on whether it is a reason or an excuse, and write you advice. When the voting period ends, you see the result.
The App is a game and a place to talk. It is not a professional service.
2. Who may use it
- You must be 18 or older. You confirm this before registering.
- Your account must not have been blocked previously.
- One person, one account. You may not open an account in someone else's name.
3. Your account
Signing in happens with a 6-digit code sent to your email. You may additionally set a password if you want, but it is not required.
The security of your account is your responsibility. Whoever has access to your email can also access your account. If you see something suspicious, close your sessions from the "Other devices" section.
When choosing a username you may not pick one that impersonates someone else, is insulting, or is misleading.
4. How the rules work
These are how the App operates and they cannot be changed — it is built this way on purpose:
A vote is cast once and cannot be taken back. You vote once per post. Even if you change your mind, your vote does not change. The reason is simple: a vote that can be changed afterwards makes the result meaningless.
You cannot vote on your own post.
When the voting period ends, voting and new advice close. Giving stars stays open — you can star older advice too.
Stars cannot be taken back. You cannot cancel a star you gave, and you cannot star your own advice.
A streak requires at least one vote per day. A 24-hour gap resets the streak.
5. What you may not share
The following are prohibited:
- Insults, profanity, threats, incitement to violence
- Hate speech — based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability and similar characteristics
- Another person's personal data: full name, address, phone, workplace, photo (this is prohibited without their consent)
- Spam, advertising, repetitive content, fake accounts
- A made-up situation — a post written to deliberately mislead people's votes
- Sexual content, illegal activity, content infringing someone else's copyright
- Impersonating someone else
Posting anonymously does not exempt you from these rules. Anonymity applies to other users — not to moderators.
6. Who owns what you write
Everything you write is yours. The copyright belongs to you.
To run the App you grant us a limited permission: to store your content inside the App, display it, and deliver it to other users. This permission exists only so the App can work — we do not sell your content, do not use it in advertising, and do not give it to third parties.
If you delete your post or your account, this permission ends as well.
7. Moderation
Any post or piece of advice can be reported. Reports are reviewed by moderators.
A moderator may choose one of the following: dismiss the report · remove the content · hide the post · send a warning · block the account for a period of time.
You have the right to appeal. If you disagree with a decision, you may appeal once; the appeal is reviewed by a more senior moderator. If the decision is overturned, it is recorded as an error by the moderator who made the first decision.
Every decision is written to an immutable log — who decided what, and when. This protects both you and us.
For severe or repeated violations an account may be closed without warning.
8. Becoming a moderator
Users who meet certain conditions can apply to become moderators. Moderation is voluntary and can be revoked at any time — particularly if decision accuracy drops.
9. Advice is not professional advice
This matters.
The advice you receive in the App comes from ordinary users. They are not lawyers, doctors, psychologists, financial advisers or any kind of professional — and we do not verify what they write.
A voting result is the opinion of a group of people, not the truth.
If you are making a serious decision about health, law, finances, safety or relationships, consult a professional. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on what you read in the App.
If there is a risk of harm to yourself or someone else, contact emergency services immediately.
10. Service warranty
The App is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will work without interruption or errors.
We may change the service, add features or remove them. If we shut the service down entirely, we will give notice in advance so that you can download your data.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the App.
11. Deleting your account
At any time: Settings → Account and privacy → "Delete account".
If you come back within 30 days, the account is restored. After that it is deleted completely. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change the terms, we will show the new version in the App. For significant changes we will send a notification. Continuing to use the App after changes means accepting the new terms.
If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Disputes are heard in the courts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
